December 8, 2016 Campus Messenger - Fruit Day Details & Volunteering

Hello everyone-

Fruit Day is just two days away, and we still need your help!  We could still use a few more parent volunteers in the following positions.  Please sign up here if you can help - even (or especially!) if your family was unable to sell fruit this year.  Donuts and coffee will be provided!

  • Traffic Control (1) - This involves the critical job of keeping the traffic flowing. Patience, Loud Voice and Sense of Direction are helpful.

  • Order Checking (2) - The student teams will fill the orders and then escort the parents and cart(s) to the exit door, where you will be waiting to check the load on the cart against the order form. Any discrepancies must be resolved before the cart can proceed to loading.

  • Vehicle Loading (4) - Supervise the loading of the vehicles. The students will do the heavy lifting. You will be asked to provide on last accuracy check.

  • Huge Order Picker (2) - Orders over $800 will be pulled aside for easier pick up. Help make sure the students pull them correctly.

  • Clean up (3) - Put the student center back the way we found it at 6:30 a.m.

  • Cart Drop off (2) - Return the carts to their rightful owners. A trailer is necessary.

Thanks to everyone who has signed up to help.  Students, remember to check what you signed up for on the bulletin board in the hallway.  Everyone, make sure  ALL FRUIT IS PICKED UP BETWEEN 9:00 and 11:30 THIS SATURDAY.  See you there!
